Introduction to AI Applications

Scope

Fundamentals, application scenarios, tools and use cases across industries. Provides the shared conceptual foundation for downstream specialisation.

Expected outcome

Ability to describe, evaluate and support the deployment of AI-enabled solutions in workplace contexts.

Priority 2 of 4

Python Application Development (AI Fundamental)

Scope

Programming fundamentals, data handling, libraries, integration patterns and packaging for real-world application development.

Expected outcome

Ability to build and maintain Python-based components used within AI application pipelines.

Priority 3 of 4

AI Operations & Maintenance

Scope

Deployment, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, service continuity and lifecycle operations for AI-enabled systems.

Expected outcome

Operational support capability for AI-enabled systems and services.

Priority 4 of 4

Machine Vision Technology

Scope

Image acquisition, cameras, lighting, preprocessing, feature extraction, detection, inspection and industrial integration.

Expected outcome

Ability to implement and support basic machine vision applications.
